Story Themes

I tell stories that are drawn from many sources – folk and fairy tales, sacred traditions, personal experiences – and that have these themes:

  • Facing everyday pressures, problems, and pain
  • Husbands and wives learning to live together.
  • Parents raising kids and kids raising parents.
  • Overcoming adversity, healing from pain
  • Confronting death and changing from it.
  • Emotions: love, hate, anger, fear, courage, joy, happiness, sorrow, grief,
    jealousy, greed, generosity, patience
  • The mystery of God and eternity, challenging our unbelief, growing our faith
  • Learning how to be wise, loving, caring, and forgiving
  • Issues in our lives that are unspoken and overwhelming but ready to heal
  • Getting closer to ourselves and to God
